One of our trained counsellor will sit with you to discuss your options and help you identify the best suited study pathway for you. After you have decided on the best option for you, and you have provided us with all the requested mandatory application documents, it will be time to apply to university/college.
Your application will be submitted to the the institution(s) you have selected. We will be assisting you with completing the application form and guiding you through the various mandatory documentation requirements.
A complete application is usually assessed between 1 to 4 weeks. The university/college admissions team will assess your application against the following criteria:
- English language entry requirements
- Academic entry requirements
- DIBP’s GTE and GS criteria
It is important to note that meeting the minimum requirements will not automatically guarantee and offer to study. Some course may have additional requirements or quotas.
You will receive a Letter of Offer which can be categorised in 2 ways.
- Conditional Letter of Offer – indicates conditions you need to meet before accepting, paying fees or enrolling.
- Unconditional letter of Offer – all requirements met, you can now accept the offer and pay fees.
Details on how to accept the offer or pay the fees are usually outlined in the letter of offer. We can provide support ant assistance at this stage.
Accepting your offer
This is an exciting stage!
To accept your offer, you often are required to sign and return the terms of agreement part of your letter of offer.
Please note you are also required to pay the indicated tuition fees directly to the college or university as this stage too. Instructions for payment and the institution’s bank details are usually provided in your letter of offer. We will be assisting with the transaction process if required.
After your fees are received and health insurance (OHSC) organised for you by the education provider, a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) is sent.
This is one of the most important document in applying for your student visa! A specialist team member will work with you in assisting all aspects of your Visa Application.
Note: The Department of Home Affairs (DHA) is responsible for issuing visas. You will need to complete all of the necessary documents to successfully apply for a student visa.
